Have you guys heard of Billie? It’s a razor blade subscription service designed for women who are sick of paying the “Pink Tax” on razors. I’ve long been a fan of the similar service Dollar Shave Club, but I was attracted to Billie by the pretty design and awesome website interface. I decided to make the switch when I learned that Billie’s blades are made in USA, and the company donates 1% to women’s causes around the world. The magnetic holder is also a convenient bonus. I barely shave anymore these days–my greatest achievement in sustainability 🙂 –so I appreciate how easy it is to manage your subscription and schedule specific delivery dates. If you use my link here to join, I get a credit toward my account.
How to prep a capsule wardrobe for the new year.
A little TV ramble: I’ve finally gotten around to watching Fargo season 3 and starting The Crown! I found Fargo season 3 really hard to get into–there weren’t as many emotional hooks or characters to really root for as in previous seasons, and the first season remains my favorite. But it definitely got sort of interesting and serves as a sort of metaphor for Trump, Russia, etc. right now. (And David Thewlis is so good and so scary.) The Crown is beautiful, and is surprising me in how invested I am, given that I know nothing about the British monarchy. It uses score so well to create moments.
This is so nice.
